We have an open role for a Strategist. In addition to a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding, we’re looking for a strong copywriter who is a creative problem solver, with the ability to paint pictures with words and to make complicated ideas simple and understandable. From verbal identities to social media post copy to media pitches, we want someone who can run with an idea from concept to client presentation to execution. (This person should also be extremely passionate about grammar.) This role will work with our Director of Creative Services and our Director of Brand Communications, on both the brand creation and execution areas of our work.   • This is a full-time role with benefits including health insurance, 401k matching, paid-time off and more.

  • It requires a minimum of 4+ years of agency experience.

  • We currently have team members in Ohio, California, North Carolina and Washington. Location is flexible for this role, but would ideally be located in Ohio.

  • This is a work-from-home role, with up to 25% travel.


A few of the requirements


Brand Strategy & Communications Expertise:

  • Ability to provide high-level concepting, ideation and copywriting for a wide range of  deliverables 

  • Experience crafting brand identity elements including brand words, positioning, mission, vision, taglines and other elements

  • Understands clients’ business challenges and can design craft verbal identities based on business objectives.

  • Takes a holistic approach to verbal identity; can own the brand story for clients across channels, maintaining voice and vision

  • Flawless copywriting skills across an array of mediums

  • Applies creative and strategic thinking to naming projects for hospitality experiences, companies, restaurants, bars & hotels.

  • Drafts pitches and press releases and other supporting materials (bios, fact sheets, etc.) for client announcements.


Strategic, Creative & Innovative Thinking: 

  • Is highly creative and competent at communicating ideas; consistently brings “Bright Ideas” for driving revenue and increasing client relevance to key audiences.

  • Strong integrated marketing communications skills and knowledge across a broad spectrum of tactics.



  • 4+ yrs. relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment

  • Strategic and intellectually agile

  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership experience

  • Solid knowledge of integrated marketing within an agency account management environment

  • Experience creating brand identities for immersive experiences

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Adobe Creative Suite

  • Sound analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable building relationships in a remote work environment

  • This is a work-from-home role, with approximately 25% travel
