Content Strategist
We are seeking a sharp, trends-focused Content Strategist to bridge the gap between high-level research and tactical execution. In this role, you'll identify emerging shifts and fuel Carbonate's thought leadership, contributing to our annual trend report and our weekly publication, Insight Out. You will also lead the charge on content strategy for 4 to 5 clients, developing engaging social media calendars and email content that support client’s business objectives. This position requires deep hospitality roots, a mastery of social platforms, and the agency experience necessary to address client needs with confidence.

Core Responsibilities:
Trend Identification & Thought Leadership: Monitor hospitality industry shifts, support ongoing trend analysis, and author compelling content that positions Carbonate as a premier industry authority.
Strategic Execution: Translate research into actionable social media and email marketing calendars for hospitality clients.
Content Management: Own the development and day-to-day execution of digital content, ensuring brand voice consistency across all platforms.
Client Stewardship: Partner with account leads and creative teams to ensure all deliverables drive engagement and exceed client objectives.
What You Bring (Ideal Candidate Profile):
A true passion for hospitality, food and beverage and an intuitive understanding of how social media, email, and web content work together to tell a brand's story.
A highly collaborative spirit, capable of providing clear design objectives and content needs to our creative services team.
Stellar communications skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and compellingly in written, oral, and presentation formats.
Exceptional productivity and time management; you stay ahead of timelines and proactively solve potential issues before they arise.
Strategic rigor and a commitment to high-quality work, balanced with a positive, "can-do" attitude towards clients and co-workers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and previous agency or hospitality experience.
Expertise in social media management (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) and email platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze social metrics and optimize content performance.
A passion for storytelling, visual content, and impeccable grammar.
Remote agility: comfortable managing 5 to 6 internal /external projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive project management skills, including tracking timelines, reporting, and sourcing materials.

$55,000 - $60,000 per year
