Ashley Martinez is a seasoned public relations professional with a deep passion for the food and beverage industry. With over eight years of experience, Ashley excels in amplifying clients' stories through strategic media opportunities, fostering strong relationships with media, and delivering impactful PR strategies, campaigns, and partnerships to help clients achieve their goals.

She started her public relations career in Washington, D.C. at the hospitality-focused boutique agency, Know PR. There, she gained valuable experience across all PR facets. Ashley then transitioned to ThreeLockharts PR, a boutique food and beverage agency, where she managed client and media relations, as well as spearheaded quarterly strategy development and managed social media for a portfolio of over eight D.C. restaurants, including Stephen Starr’s Le Diplomate, St. Anselm, Bread Alley, and Chef Michael White’s Osteria Morini.

In 2022, Ashley moved to Los Angeles where she joined the JS2 PR team as an Senior Account Executive and was quickly promoted to Account Supervisor in 2023, leading notable restaurant accounts such as Danny Trejo’s Trejo’s Tacos, CPG accounts and securing top-tier partnerships for clients.

As Senior Publicist at Carbonate, Ashley spearheads media and client relationships, and leverages strategic, creative, and innovative thinking to drive success. Her diverse experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the industry and a track record of successful PR campaigns. Ashley holds a B.S. in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University
